Oil leakage of hydraulic coupling - analysis, solution and maintenance of oil leakage of coupling
At the initial stage of installation of the hydraulic coupling, oil leakage may be caused by (1) knocking during the installation process damaged the aluminum shell - deformation, affecting the oil seal, and most of the oil leakage phenomena are obvious and serious; (2) The rotating part of shaft seal is rusted, resulting in seal failure; (3) Oil leakage (oil mist) on the joint surface of the coupling assembly may be caused by insufficient pre tightening force of the bolts of the coupling, or too little sealant, damage and failure of the O-ring. For example, oil leakage from the surface of the casting is a casting defect (air hole and sand hole)
The hydraulic coupling leaks oil after running for a period of time, which may be caused by (1) the working machine is overloaded, the fusible plug of the coupling melts and injects oil, and refills oil to replace the fusible plug; (2) The coupling operates at high temperature for a long time or the over temperature fuel injection times are too frequent, which leads to the failure of the oil seal lip and oil leakage from the shaft head; (3) There is foreign matter in the coupling oil, which damages the oil seal
